KNX Serial BAOS 870 - Serial Interface for KNX Integration
The KNX Serial BAOS 870 is a serial RS-232 interface specifically designed for integrating non-KNX devices into KNX networks. The device uses the proven FT1.2 protocol (PEI 10) and additionally supports the BAOS protocol for accessing data points. This allows non-KNX devices to be fully integrated into a KNX network via an RS-232 connection.

Thanks to its simple installation and configuration via ETS, the KNX Serial BAOS 870 is ideal for applications where older non-KNX devices need to be seamlessly integrated into modern KNX systems. However, for new implementations, we recommend our newer BAOS solutions, which are available as serial modules, USB, or IP interfaces.
