What is VOC?
VOC stands for "Volatile Organic Compounds". In HVAC systems, VOC levels are used as an indicator of indoor air quality. VOCs are emitted by humans, building materials, furniture and cleaning products. High VOC levels may cause health issues and reduced concentration. VOC detection enables automatic ventilation control to maintain a healthy indoor climate.
Application
The Arcus-EDS SK30-TC-VOC-R is a compact and versatile KNX sensor for measuring indoor temperature and VOC levels. It features an integrated rotary knob for local setpoint adjustment, two binary I/Os and logic functions. Ideal for controlling heating, cooling and ventilation based on air quality and comfort settings.
