Information
Product Description
The electromechanical actuator is designed specifically for heating and zone valves, compatible with KNX S-Mode. It supports precise valve position control through an integrated bus coupling and features LED indicators for status display. Two binary inputs allow integration with window and motion sensors.
Features and Characteristics
- Continuous Control: The actuator can achieve any desired valve position within configurable limits for optimal heating control.
- Automatic Adjustment: During installation, an automatic calibration is performed to accurately determine the valve positions.
- Valve Protection: Activates a periodic cycle to prevent the valve from sticking if not used for an extended period.
- Safety Measures: Built-in alarm function in case of temperature control signal failure and possibility of emergency mode.
- Two Binary Inputs: Suitable for connecting window or motion sensors for integrated operating mode control.
Compatible Valves
The actuator is suitable for mounting on standard valves with an M30 x 1.5 thread and a stem stroke up to 5.5 mm. Compatible valves include models from the following manufacturers:
- Siemens (e.g., VPI46... and VPP46... series)
- Braukmann
- Danfoss
- Dumser
- Heimeier
- Herb
- Honeywell
- MNG
- Onda
- Oventrop
- Reich
- Schlösser

Installation Instructions
The device connects to the KNX bus via the supplied bus terminal (red +/black -). It can be mounted on a distribution board or directly onto the valve. For proper operation, the valve should be calibrated to the valve parameters in advance. The automatic calibration is carried out as soon as the bus voltage is applied.
Important Note
During maintenance, the actuator should always be removed from the valve and the valve securely closed (e.g., with an original construction protection cap) to avoid unintentional opening of the valve and possible water damage.
Electrical Safety
The device complies with safety standards according to EN 60529 (IP20) and EN 60730-2-14 (protection class III). The bus power supply uses SELV (safety extra-low voltage) as specified by KNX, providing additional safety.
