What is VOC?
VOC stands for "Volatile Organic Compounds" – gases released from common materials such as paint, cleaning agents, furniture, and construction materials. High VOC levels indoors can cause health issues like headaches, fatigue, or irritation. In HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), VOC sensors are used to monitor indoor air quality and automatically control ventilation to maintain a healthy environment.

The Arcus-EDS SK30-TC-VOC is a compact KNX sensor (55 mm, IP20) for measuring temperature and VOC levels in indoor spaces. It is designed for smart building automation, offering integrated control and logic functions to manage heating, cooling, and ventilation based on air quality. Two binary inputs/outputs allow external buttons or switches to be connected for flexible control scenarios.
