What is VOC?
VOC stands for "Volatile Organic Compounds". In HVAC systems, VOC levels are used as indicators of indoor air quality. VOCs are emitted by humans, building materials, furniture, and cleaning agents. High VOC concentrations can lead to poor air quality, reduced concentration, and health issues. VOC detection enables automatic ventilation control to ensure clean and healthy indoor air.
Application
The Arcus-EDS SK30-TC-VOC-PB is a compact KNX sensor with integrated temperature and VOC sensors, designed for monitoring indoor air quality and temperature. With two front buttons, logic functions and decentralized control options, this sensor is ideal for use in offices, schools, residential buildings and other intelligent KNX installations where comfort and air quality are essential.
