What is VOC?
VOC stands for "Volatile Organic Compounds". These are substances released by people, furniture, cleaning products, paints, and building materials. In HVAC systems, the VOC level is used as an indicator of indoor air quality. The SK20-TC-VOC-2B detects VOC levels and enables automatic ventilation control to maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.
Application
The Arcus-EDS SK20-TC-VOC-2B is a compact surface-mounted sensor for KNX systems, designed for measuring and controlling indoor temperature and VOC concentration. Suitable for offices, schools, residential buildings, and smart environments where air quality and energy efficiency are key. It includes two configurable binary I/Os and logic functions for versatile HVAC automation.
