MDT AKS Series 2-Fold Switch Actuator, 230 V AC, 16 A - Flush Mounted

The MDT Switch Actuator from the AKS series is a versatile solution for switching electrical loads via the KNX/EIB system. This 2-fold switch actuator, designed for flush mounting, uses bistable relays to switch up to two independent electrical loads. The relays are designed for high inrush currents, making the actuator ideal for applications with high loads, such as switching installed sockets.

Each output is individually programmable via ETS, offering extensive logic, timing, and scene functions. In the event of a bus voltage failure, the relays maintain their current position. Upon return of bus power, the relay positions can be programmed individually for each output.

Key features of the AKS-02UP.03 include:

  • Extensive logic and scene functions
  • Comprehensive timing functions (switch-on/off delay)
  • Staircase lighting and impulse functions
  • NO and NC contact operation
  • Integrated bus coupling unit

Technical specifications:

  • Outputs: 2
  • Maximum switching capacity: 16 A
  • Voltage: 230 V AC
  • Maximum inrush current: 600 A / 150 µs, 250 A / 600 µs
